– What makes a space sacred?: discussion and creative dialogue
– How do we create a sacred space wherever we are with what we have?

– Unpacking our bags
– Creating our sacred space: create a sacred physical space by implementing what we learned during our morning discussion
– Craft: meditation cushions
– Games: team building and bonding games: Marshmallow River, Here to There

– Discussion: Living in our sacred space as a family
– Ages and stages, What we have in common, making
– Big buddies-little buddies/Brothers and Sisters

– Discussion and connection through the many ways of prayer
– Affirmative prayer/Spiritual Mind Treatment
– Craft: Prayer beads

– Connecting with each other through games, music and stories

– Outside Story time - younger and older books and discussion

– Perspectives & Senses
– Mirrors, cameras, beliefs, attitudes, using our senses
– Craft: Two sides of the same coin
Youth Program 1:45 - 4:15
– Hike, outdoor journaling and art project
Youth Program 7:45 - 9:45PM
– Closing: completion ceremony, reflection, packing our bags again.
Friday, August 16
Youth Program 8:45 - 10:15
A Space Once Created is Always Expanding
– Packing up, cleaning up and taking it home with us!
Daily:
Opening: check in, spiritual practice, intentions, adding to our sacred space
Closing: Gratitude circle, journal, conscious completion, Love Awards, closing prayer
Other Activities: Yoga, write and perform a song, Make "who we are" video, service project, random acts of kindness, key note speakers meet with kids …
